My name is Chloe Tait and I have just recently finished my final year studying Graphic Design at the University of Sunderland. I have always had a passion for Art and Design, these together formed my love for Graphic Design. My creative side has always been my strongest characteristic, Graphic Design gives me the opportunity to create, express and explore my own ideas. It gives me the ability to communicate my imagination and enthusiasm that I have for design ideas. Communicating messages and voices through the use of design is something I love to see and do myself.
I am confident in using the programmes Adobe: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, XD and Dimension. I can also use the programmes Cinema 4D, Corel Painter and also Wordpress. I have really enjoyed gaining new skills since the start of the course from things digitally such as layout skills, computer illustration, vector drawing and many more. I have not only gained digital skills but also physical ones such as screen printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, perfect binding, spiral binding, lino cutting and printing and different methods of folding. I am very passionate about graphic design especially in the fields of branding, motion graphics and 3D work as I feel these are my strongest areas.
In my spare time I enjoy socialising with family and friends and also travelling new places. I enjoy creating freelance work too to build my skills on different programmes and also build portfolio work. Painting is also something that I really enjoy using my favourite media, acrylic paint. I like creating close up paintings of objects and also people as I really enjoy creating dimension to my pieces. I currently work in a restaurant where I have built good communication skills with customers of all ages and also work well in a team. I have also gained skills to use my initiative in different situations.
