This is my project I completed during my computer illustration module. The brief was to create a front, back and spine of a hard back book in response to a memorable book with our own response to it. I decided to go ahead with Alice's Wonders in Wonderland and I combined this with a Tim Burton style illustration to create a gothic twist to the book and I feel like this worked really well. I also tied in darker colours for backgrounds like Burton did in his work however kept the vibrancy in the characters to keep the original story too.
