I was asked by Coastline Fish and Chip Restaurant to create a new style of menu as they had a new design in their restaurant. They gave me some illustrations and also a colour scheme they wanted to have to match the restaurant. This was fuchsia pink, grey, black and a dusk blue. The theme that the restaurant is based on is an old style ice cream diner with retro style booths and wood throughout. The restaurant wanted to show the wood in the background of the menus so the pinks and blues stood out. They specifically asked for there to be a range of different fonts on the menus as this is what is shown throughout the restaurant. They also wanted facts about where the food come from and also the packaging of their takeaway boxes as this was all biodegradable. I created a main menu showing all of the different things the customer could purchase within the restaurant. I also produced a dessert menu for the ice cream parlour side of the restaurant as this is also what they were famous for. They asked me to produce a small loyalty card for the Lavazza coffees they were selling in store and also to create a breakfast menu which would look a little different to the rest but making sure they still had some elements the same for example the background and also the fonts.
