This is my project that I created in order to produce my own typeface in response to a given movement. Mine was Constructivism, I created a journal in order to show my response to the movement and also show research I had took out in order to start designing my own type. I have shown in my images my final type I come up with after developing initial ideas throughout the journal. I found that Constructivism was very bold, industrial and abstract with different angles constantly been made. This is reflected in the type which I created as I made the stroke of the type very thick and also uppercase. I used the same white rectangular shape throughout the type in order to create the shape of the letters and also the counters in the letters.
